Three important reasons to build your brand rather than that of your company:
1. If you plan on building a successful long-term business,you need to realize that "You, Inc." is your business. Your current MLM or direct sales company is not your business, it's simply a part of your of your business.

2. Focusing on building your own "Brand" as a leader and building up tangible assets and systems that you can plug into the promotion of whatever company you decide to join prevents you from being at the mercy of the decisions made by your company's owners.

3. By building your brand as a valuable leader, people will be more interested in working with you than constantly jumping into the next big thing that comes along.

Attraction Marketing Tip #4 of 52

1. Focus on giving without expecting anything in return.

2. Develop a habit of providing service to others.

3. Become the type of person that you would want to work with in your business.

Attraction Marketing Traffic Tip

If you want to start generating some targeted traffic to your website, one thing you can do is find high traffic blogs and video channels on sites like YouTube and post comments on them. The key here though is that you don't want to spam a person's site with your comments trying to promote your business opportunity. Find people who are posting content related to your business, interests or marketing style. Make sure you read or view their content, then offer a valuable comment and mention that you have been teaching the same strategies for a long time too, etc. Don't post your website and contact information on the post, just let the people who read your comment click on your profile link (Blogger,WordPress, YouTube, etc.) where they can find your information. If people are intrigued by your posts they will click on your profile to find out more about you and will likely respect the fact that you're not just spamming websites with your business opportunity.

Attraction Marketing - Getting The Word Out

When you are building an attraction marketing campaign, it is important to create valuable content that helps to position you as a leader and an expert that other people will be interested in working with so they can achieve the success they desire.

Once you have written a new blog post or created a video with valuable content, you need to get the word out on the internet so the search engines will take notice of your content. The following list contains five tips for making the most of your quality content:

1. Ping It! Once you have posted your information go to www.pingomatic.com and submit the link to your content.

2. Digg It! Subscribe to www.digg.com and submit the link to your new content.

3. Propel It! Next sign up for an account with www.propeller.com.

4. Make it Delicious...Create an account at www.delicious.com.

5. Get Jiglu! Add Jiglu tags to your blog.

Using these powerful free resources, I've had some of my content show up in the search engines rankings within five hours of submitting it.

Attraction Marketing With Videos

If you have been using the internet to build your business or to find information about home-based businesses, then chances are pretty good that you have seen a growing number of videos on You Tube and other similar video sites showing up in the search engine rankings. Many internet marketers have begun to tap into this powerful method of generating free traffic for their websites. If you have been thinking about getting started with your own video marketing campaign, but don't know how to get started, here are five things you need to know to help you get started:

1. Camera - You don't need to have any expensive camera equipment to get started, you can get a fairly inexpensive Flip Camera for around $130 or less. Click here for more information.

2. Editing Software - If you already have a PC, chances are great that you already have the software that you need. Click on the programs list on your computer and locate Windows Movie Maker. This software will allow you to do everything you need to do to edit your videos.

3. Video Title & Tags - Prepare a list of keywords that you want to target and make sure you list them in your title and tags.

4. Description - Use a short amount of descriptive text for your first paragraph in the description section. On You Tube you can actually include a longer description, so use this space to add information that coincides with your video. When you submit your videos to other video sites that don't allow long descriptions, just use your first paragraph.

5. Links - It is very important to make sure that you include the links to your website in your description. You will want to start off this section with your link as the first thing displayed, then end your description with your link as well.

Make sure you take the time to set up your title, tags and descriptions with the keywords that you want to target because your video content alone will not be picked up by the search engines.

Attraction Marketing Never Gets Old

As I am starting to build the foundation for my new business, I am reminded of the time Natasha and I spent learning about attraction marketing a little over a year ago. We started studying and applying the principles of attraction marketing and even though we believed what we had read would actually start to happen, it's hard to describe how gratifying it was when it really started working. I remember the day that we had our first complete stranger join our business.

Natasha called me and was excited to tell me the news of the day. Someone we didn't know had joined our business, and Natasha had called our sponsor to share the news with him. Our sponsor was an old school network marketer who didn't quite understand the concept of what we had been "working" on for the past several weeks. In his defense, from his perspective all he saw was the fact that we had not been attending team meetings or sponsoring anyone into our business. When Natasha called to tell him that we had in fact been "working" and that we had sponsored someone into our business without even talking to them, our sponsor was quick to point out the fact that it was most likely a case of someone accidentally signing up on the wrong person's site and that once they discoverd the mistake, the corporate office would correct it. Natasha knew better and made a quick call to welcome our new team member.

She was right, this person had found some of the blog articles that she had written, liked what he read and decided to join on our team. Our sponsor was shocked that we had actually sponsored someone into our business without even talking to them, but he assured us that it was obviously a special circumstance, not a trend that would continue. I'm not sure how many people joined our business in a similar manner before he finally started to see that we were on to something real...maybe the 14th or 15th. Additionally, no matter how many times it happens, it never gets old! Even though we know it will happen again and again, we can't help but act a little surprised each time it does.

Just a couple of weeks after beginning my new business, my results are beginning to "surprise" me again. It really never gets old...
